Removing the Business Limitations of a Single Software Vendor
InfoSys and IBM would like to invite you to a seminar to explore the issues associated with dependency on a single software vendor, and possible alternatives. The seminar will focus on how to reduce organisational costs whilst increasing options available for software solutions and technical flexibility. Choosing a single brand for your computer desktop, operating systems and business software can have advantages but can also be highly limiting, stifling innovation and your ability to provide the tools your company needs.
This half-day event has been designed for people who make commercial decisions about IT strategy. Not only will you hear from IT experts but also a major blue chip company in the finance sector will present their experiences. The meeting's primary objective is to make maximum use of your time and focus on a road-map to cost reduction, and achieving business priorities. The event aims to provide you with realistic, feasible ways of managing your IT purchasing decisions, even when options for new investment are severely limited.
The session will be jointly hosted by InfoSys and IBM on the 19th of June in Swindon (County Park, Shrivenham Road, SN1 2NR) with registration from 9.00 am. The venue is easy to reach either by train or via the M4 motorway. We are inviting people with a focus on the commercial aspects of procuring and managing IT tools and services whilst taking into account the strategic and technical issues.
