Smart Work embraces and takes advantage of change, by creating a more agile, collaborative and connected business environment. It can make your business more profitable and productive, whilst also making the world a better place in which to live and work.

Insurance industry customers must create and manage information on corporate web sites using open, standards based tools. Using real-world examples, we will discuss how Lotus Web Content Management with Domisphere Portal Manager and EditLive provide a new experience for editors and, most importantly, give greater value to their users, allowing them to become more agile, more productive and build significantly improved portal based web sites.

WebSphere Portal web sites can include data from back office systems, integrate with other Web applications, and customise information to individuals through personalisation.

Our webinar will show how you can improve content development, quality and publishing. You will see how your organisation can make greater use of business knowledge and expertise, reduce costs and delays, and produce web content which is of far greater value to your business.

You will also be able to see the newest features available in Domisphere Portal Manager (DPM), EditLive and IBM Lotus Web Content Management.

As well as engaging business people more directly with their sophisticated web site content publication, DPM provides insurance industry users with many more features in their content driven portals.

Examples of some of the enhanced functionality provided by DPM, include:

- Easier and much more friendly URLs for passing web page addresses to others
- Greater leverage of search engines
- Construction of sites with far greater flexibility and responsiveness to business
- The ability to graft sections of a site together making web site development far more flexible
- The ability to test multiple page layouts in a live and real web environment helps you to better identify the optimum layout and content for your web pages

Creating web content is just like working with any other document when using EditLive! Enterprise Edition - the rich text editor available with IBM Lotus Web Content Management. With EditLive!’s word-like interface, content managers have the tools they need to easily create quality content, collaborate with others, and adhere to corporate policies. Also to use tables, lists and sophisticated formatting and ensure 100% W3C compliant content. All of this makes working with web content like working with any other insurance industry document.
