Collaborative Document Management Solution - Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5.1, Lotus Symphony 1.3, Lotus Quickr 8.2 and Lotus Sametime 8.0.2

Domisphere Portal Manager implementation (DPM) - IBM Websphere Portal and Lotus Web Content Management
Design and implementation of Domisphere Portal Manager into one of the largest IBM Portal projects in Europe. Our DPM product has been included in the IBM Portal and IBM WCM solution in order to add unprecedented flexibility to the standard IBM platform. In so doing - it has been possible to satisfy all of the customer's very specific and complex business requirements. InfoSys consultants were pivotal in providing the framework from which the solution was built.

Lotus Workflow Development - Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5
InfoSys have designed, developed and implemented a Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5 Client and Web application, utilising Lotus Workflow 7 for the management and processing of capital expenditure request authorisations and new item request authorisations. Functionality has also been included to allow all authorisations to be actioned via Blackberries, as necessary.

Custom Training - Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5
Design, preparation and delivery of a custom on-site Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5 training course (covering both administration and development) to the in-house IT support team, for a UK based legal company specialising in patent and trademark law. This was followed by a planning workshop to enable the trainees to better undertake an efficient and effective multi-site roll-out of Lotus Notes 8.5.

Application Analysis prior to Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5.1 upgrade
A leading education consultancy and service organisation had 100+ Lotus Notes applications in use throughout the organisation, and wanted to ensure that after upgrading all would still continue to work within the new 8.5.1 environment. Working closely with the client Project Manager, InfoSys outlined and prepared a testing schedule, then performed a full technical analysis on all the applications to ensure compatibility with Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5.1. The end result was a detailed report outlining our findings on an application-by-application basis, which clearly identified areas for further user testing of the applications to ensure a smooth upgrade process.

Competence Management System (CMS) - Lotus Domino/Notes
Design, development and implementation of a bespoke Lotus Domino/Notes Competence Management System (CMS) for one of the worlds leading transport operators based in the UK. Documentation and training for both end users and application administrators was also included with this project

DAOS Consultancy – Lotus Domino 8.5
Following an upgrade to Domino 8.5, a major UK based international retailer asked InfoSys to assist it with the implementation of the new Domino Attachment and Object Service (DAOS).

InfoSys achieved this by installing a new Lotus Domino server into the existing cluster and converting all mail files on the new server to use DAOS. A reduction in the total size of the mail databases from 450GB to 160GB was realised with an overall perceived performance improvement to the end-users.

Further Intranet Site Development - Domisphere IIC
Visual redesign and further enhancements to an existing Domisphere IIC based Intranet for a leading international manufacturer of convenience foods and ingredients.

On-site Consultancy – Lotus Domino/Notes 8.5 Development & Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI)
One our highly-experienced Lotus Domino/Notes application Developer’s worked closely with the in house development and administration team of the global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, to analyse and fix more than 2,000 Lotus Notes databases prior to moving to a new Lotus Domino server based in Germany and upgrading from Lotus Notes 6.5 to 8.5. This involved testing LEI based connections, testing and fixing application code where required, also maintaining a record of all databases tested along with fixes carried out.

Bespoke Web Development - Lotus Domino/Notes
Design, development, implementation and on-going enhancement of a bespoke Lotus Domino/Notes web application for a major player in the global facilities management market. The completed solution adds powerful workflow functionality to an existing ERP system, allowing users working on customer sites to raise Purchase Requisitions through a dynamic Web 2.0 web application. Documentation and training for both end users and application administrators was also included with this project

Application Web Enablement - Lotus Domino/Notes
Web enablement of two existing and complex business critical Lotus Notes applications, for a specialist UK based owner/manager of long-term savings and investment portfolios. This was done to allow the two applications to continue to be used by the business, but without the need for a Lotus Notes client (i.e. web browser only) as part of the business-wide migration away from Lotus to Microsoft

Consultancy – Lotus Domino Virtualisation and Lotus Notes 8 Standard Client Deployment via Citrix
An international bank had used Lotus Notes on an iSeries for many years but the system was now struggling to cope and in need of replacement. Infosys were tasked with validating an install of Domino 8 on virtualised servers and performing load and capacity testing to ensure that there would be no reduction in service to end users following a move to the use of virtual servers.

At the same time the bank decided that as Citrix was being increasingly used to provide users with a better service, the Notes 8 standard client should be deployed via Citrix. InfoSys also provided assistance in the capacity testing for the Notes client so that a suitable number of Citrix servers of the correct specification could be added to the existing server farm.
