We would very much like to invite you to a pre-Christmas seminar to help you with your technology strategies and plans for next year and beyond. The event we are planning is for senior managers and executives who wish to include technology based responses to the challenges their organisations face. We are hosting the morning event with IBM at our Swindon head office on the 10th of December 2008.

In terms of an agenda, we are keen to provide a forum where the nature and direction of the discussion specifically adapts to your needs and priorities. However, feedback from our customers shows that many organisations are concerned with how to reduce costs such as travel expenses, reduce their impact on the environment and increase efficiency. Collaboration tools such as web forums and internet-based technology are examples of the solutions which might be considered. Operations and activities are becoming increasingly regulated, and access to data with systems which are efficient and easy to use, as well as provide appropriate control are key factors. As well as these known challenges, many companies need to provide solutions which meet immediate business demands, in tough economic times, but which can adapt over time.

So taking these ideas, we envisage the basis of our discussion to involve:

· Collaboration solutions taking into account technical, business and cultural factors
· Data management for business efficiency, governance and regulation
· Increasing your infrastructure provision and support flexibility at a time of great uncertainty
· An open forum for other issues

We are inviting a group of senior people from our customer base to meet and hear from technology, strategy and project experts in a forum designed to give you maximum feedback and contribution options. We will have an IBM Executive with key responsibility for Lotus collaboration software, a content management expert as well as a customer speaker with a case study on how they have increased flexibility in their management of technology. In addition, we intend to provide an ideal environment to share ideas between peers.
